The spark
After being friends since high school, our relationship evolved into something more. We officially started our journey as a couple and rang in our very first New Year's Eve together.
The Big "Yes."
After years of long-distance—including Kathy's year in Colombia—Carlos decided it was time to "lock it down." He proposed in June, and we officially tied the knot on August 6, 2016, at the World War Memorial in DC.
Making a Home
After living with some wonderful roommates, we finally moved into our own apartment. Just one day later, our family grew when we adopted Romo!
Leveling Up
Apartment living was great, but buying a home was even better. Despite a stressful search during the height of COVID, we finally found the perfect place to call our own.
European Summer
We crossed the Atlantic, celebrating Oktoberfest in Munich before heading to the most romantic city in the world—Paris.
Miles of Memories
We checked a big one off the bucket list this year by running our first half marathon together. There's nothing quite like the feeling of hitting that final mile and knowing we tackled the whole race as a team.
Double the Trouble
We decided life wasn't quite complicated enough, so we welcomed Cosmo into the family.
